I just started working on a new experiment, which is to create 3D images using digital art. I am exploring the idea of creating a 3D viewmaster reel that would actually work on a regular Viewmaster. The images I am posting should look 3D when viewed with a regular stereoscope, or one of the newer adjustable stereoviewers.

Happy New Year! You know, I’m actually glad 2011 is done and over with – 2012 is a new start! Okay, I slowed down significantly with my art and design production (oh, a baby just happened) but we are grateful to have our little bundle of joy. He’s been quite a handful from the beginning, and ER before christmas, that was just horrible. BUT! He is doing better, and this is a new year – new hope, new beginnings for all. We’ll do better this year! Cheers!

I carved this out of a plastic pumpkin for Halloween… I know, I know, it’s not a real pumpkin, but it had to be – my son is too young to enjoy it now, and I want him to have it in years to come… I’ll add to it next year…

This is a watercolor version of the Hitchiker’s Song which was an oil painting. This one debuted during the SEABA Art Hop last weekend in Burlington VT.
